These are the success stories for the month of September
*Understand the need for routine
Many people see routines as a way to manage time but routines offer psychological benefits too. With structure in place, stress is reduced, overall sense of well-being is improved and a positive mindset is fostered.
* Designate a Learning Space
Dedicate a place that has enough space for any necessary learning tools (computer, notebook) but free from as many distractions as possible.
* Plan Brain Breaks
A timer is a great tool for brain breaks to ensure that breaks don't break your work flow.
* Create a Daily Schedule
A schedule should include a regular bedtime that allows for 7-8 hours of sleep.
An example schedule might look like this:
8am - Breakfast
9am - Work on Classes
10:30am - 10:45am - Brain Break
10:45am - Work on Classes
12pm - 12:30pm - Lunch
12:30pm - Work on Classes
2pm - 2:15pm - Brain Break
2:15pm - 3pm - Work on Classes
Weekly Check-ins
Remember that weekly check-ins are a requirement of Homelink. They are a great time to review where you are academically with your teacher and make a plan for the week. Make sure you are getting your check-in, whether in person, over zoom or via communication log, done on time each week!

We would love you input!
Each year we do at least two family activities. We typically do one on the Fall and one in the Spring. We would love your input on activities, dates and times that would work best for your family.
We would like to have as many families attend as possible.
Please contact Mrs. Dayton at:
